We provide computer and user support services to the College of Engineering and the School of Technology. Our mission and work advance the university's strategic plan to become a premier technological research university of international stature.
These are some of the services we offer:
User Support: We are a service oriented, user support organization, assisting more than 7,000 people in their use of information technology for learning, teaching and research.
Computing labs: We support and maintain more than thirty general computing laboratories.
Purchasing assistance: We assist our users with the purchase of computing equipment, ensuring value, reliability and interoperability with the rest of our computing environment.
Research Support: We help maintain and administer high-performance computing clusters, and the computing equipment used in research facilities.
Special Projects: We consult and help in special IT projects, such as lobby displays, special topic web sites, programming projects, etc.
System Administration: We maintain the infrastructure required to provide all our services, in special collaboration with Information Technology Services and Security on back-end infrastructure.
Poster printing: We provide large-format printing services to the Michigan Tech campus.
